London gives a group a thousand things to look at. It does not, on its own, give them a reason to rely on each other.
That is the honest gap in most London programs. The city is magnificent and busy in equal measure. People arrive from different offices, different countries, sometimes different continents, spend two days in meeting rooms and dinners sitting next to the colleagues they already know, and fly home having seen London without ever really meeting each other.
Corazon Azul builds the missing part: hosted team challenges, hunts and give-back builds for groups of over 20, phenomenally fun on the surface and engineered underneath to get people communicating, collaborating and trusting each other with something real. In London, we use the city you came for as the course itself – its streets, its riverside, its neighbourhoods – with an indoor plan of equal strength standing ready, so the connection happens whatever the sky is doing.

London, the way we use it
London rewards a planner who designs for how the city actually behaves. Distances look short on a map and take longer on foot. Programs run tight, because there is always a dinner, a transfer or a keynote waiting after your session. And the weather is a participant in every plan, not a footnote – a bright morning can turn grey by lunch, and a good London format expects that from the first sketch.
We design around all three truths. Our courses stay inside one walkable neighbourhood or one venue footprint, so the group spends its energy on each other instead of on transfers. Timing is planned to the minute against your program, with setup finished before your group walks in and a finale that hands everyone back exactly when we promised. And every outdoor format on this page has an indoor twin of equal strength, designed in advance – not a lesser backup assembled in a panic when the clouds arrive.
The city teaches here in a way a host barely has to explain. London only works because strangers cooperate constantly – on pavements, on platforms, in queues that form without anyone giving an order. Put a team on a neighbourhood course where one person holds the route, everyone else holds a piece of the puzzle, and nobody finishes alone, and that cooperation stops being background. It becomes the skill the group is practicing: listen fully, speak clearly, share what you know, and get the whole team through together. A little outside the comfort zone, completely supported, in one of the great working cities of the world – groups carry that home.
Formats that belong to London
Neighbourhood hunts. The signature London format. Teams work a course through one chosen neighbourhood – its streets, squares, landmarks and quiet corners – solving a connected chain of problems as they go. Each stop holds part of a larger puzzle, routes are walked at a comfortable pace, and the finish brings every team back together in one place for the finale.
Indoor venue challenges. For tight programs, winter dates, and days when the weather has already made the decision: full-room and tabletop formats that run in your hotel ballroom, meeting space or hired venue. Construction builds, guided trust rounds and whole-room finales that carry the same communication demands as the outdoor course, under a roof that never leaks on the plan.
Riverside and green-space challenges. When the program and the season allow, teams work a course along the river paths and through London’s parks and garden squares – open air, clear routes, and room for larger groups to spread across parallel courses before gathering for one shared close.
Give-back builds. London groups feel the giving-back moment deeply, because need and generosity sit side by side in this city. Teams build wheelchairs, assemble bikes for children, pack school kits, or build solar lights for families without reliable electricity. We work with over 100 charities and nonprofit foundations in the United States and internationally, and based on your team’s desire we can source a specific foundation, hospital or cause – in London, across the United Kingdom, or at home – to receive what your group builds. The handover is the moment the room goes quiet, in the best way.
Sample structure – a two-hour neighbourhood hunt with an indoor finale, step by step
- The open (10 minutes). Teams form inside your venue, rules in one breath, first problem fast. A group that has been sitting in sessions all morning needs a reason to stand up and lean in, and a live course waiting outside the door provides it within minutes.
- Round one – the street course (35-40 minutes). Teams leave on a walked route through one neighbourhood, each stop holding a real problem and one piece of a larger puzzle. Navigation is shared on purpose – the person with the map cannot solve the stops, and the people solving the stops cannot see the whole route – so talking well becomes the fastest way forward.
- Round two – the guided trust challenge (25-30 minutes). One teammate sees the task, the rest work guided by voice alone in a tabletop round back indoors, or in a quiet square when the weather is kind. London is a city that rewards clear instructions and punishes vague ones, and this round makes that lesson physical, funny and memorable.
- Round three – the team build (25-30 minutes). Teams return for a construction challenge with materials limited on purpose. Scarcity forces choices, choices force conversation, and the team that plans out loud beats the team that builds in silence. Roles split naturally and the build improves round by round.
- The finale (15-20 minutes). Scores, the closing challenge, and the close – what this group just proved about itself, said out loud while the energy is still high. Then we hand you back to your program on time, with dinner, the evening and the rest of London still ahead.

Group-size guidance
- 20 to 50: One course, one host working close. The classic London leadership and global-team size, where formats can go deep and every person in the group is genuinely needed.
- 50 to 200: Parallel neighbourhood routes and hunt courses, whole-group opens and finales. The core conference and company-gathering size for London hotels, and the one their ballrooms and surrounding streets serve most naturally.
- 200 to 1,000: Venue scale. Staggered starts, multiple course variants, indoor capacity and covered gathering points built into every rotation, participation kept real at team level however large the crowd grows.
- 1,000+: Choreographed with your venue and your production team from day one – large hotels, conference centres and buyouts are planned with you property by property, never assumed.
There is a format for every group over 20 and a way to build it for every type of budget. Tell us the outcome you want and the window your program can give us, and we will design backwards from both.
Logistics – London specifics
- Program-first scheduling: tell us where the team block sits in your program – a morning course before sessions, a post-lunch energy reset, a pre-dinner finale – and the format is built to that slot, including setup time and venue approvals handled in planning.
- Rain honesty: London weather changes, sometimes inside a single afternoon. Every outdoor format has an indoor twin designed in advance, not improvised on the day, and the call between them is made with you early enough that nobody is ever standing in a doorway wondering what happens next.
- One-neighbourhood design: London distances are real, and programs work best without mid-session transfers. Tell us your hotel or venue and its neighbourhood, and routes, timing and logistics are designed for that base, walked and checked in planning.
- Winter daylight: in the winter months the light goes early, and outdoor courses are scheduled to finish well inside it. Evening programs run indoors by design, with the same energy carried under cover.
- Venue coordination: we work inside your property’s rules – permitted spaces, noise windows, vendor access and load-in – confirmed in planning so there are no surprises on the day.
- Walking at a comfortable pace: courses are built on pavements, squares and riverside paths at walking pace, with seated and tabletop roles in every round. Comfortable shoes are the only useful tip, and we will flag anything venue-specific in planning.
- International ease: London groups often span many countries and first languages. Formats run fully in English, instructions are demonstrated as well as spoken, and no participant needs anything beyond what the venue already provides. Arrival and setup for our hosting team are handled in planning, never left to the event day.
- We bring: design, hosting and facilitation, all activity materials, scoring and the finale, and planning calls that fit the event to your program.
- You bring: the people and the window in the program. We handle the rest.
FAQ
Our group is based at one hotel – can everything run from there?
Yes, and that is how most London programs run best. Neighbourhood hunts start and finish at your venue, indoor challenges and give-back builds live inside it, so there are no transfers to manage and no momentum lost between sessions.
What happens if it rains during our team block?
The moment moves indoors, it does not disappear. Every outdoor format has an indoor twin – ballroom, meeting space or covered venue space – designed in advance. We watch the forecast with you in the days before and make the call early, so the version that runs is a choice, never a scramble.
Is London right for a senior leadership group, or is this more for large company gatherings?
Both, designed differently. For a leadership group the formats go deeper and quieter – fewer people, harder communication problems, more space in the close. For a large gathering the same mechanics scale across parallel courses with a whole-group finale. Tell us which group you are bringing and the tone follows.
Can we do a give-back build that benefits a local cause in London?
Yes. Alongside our wider network of over 100 charities and nonprofit foundations in the United States and internationally, we can source a specific foundation, hospital or community cause in London or across the United Kingdom based on your team’s desire, so what your group builds goes to recipients who could not buy these things themselves.
Do participants need a fitness level or special clothing?
No. Courses are built on pavements, squares and paths at walking pace, with roles for every energy and ability level in every round, and indoor formats need nothing at all beyond the room itself. Comfortable shoes for the outdoor course are the only useful tip.
What do you need from us to give a proposal?
Dates, headcount, the hotel or venue and neighbourhood you are based in, and the window in your program you can give us. Tell us exactly that when you get in touch.
